Writing Tips and Advice
Finish The End
Finish The End is multiple short story ideas that I begin and let my reader’s finish. The brilliance in this is that I have already done the most difficult part in creative writing: I started it. I leave the rest of it to my readers to finish the story however they please, making it as long or as short as they like. It’s also beneficial to use as writing prompts or to escape from writer’s block. I welcome any beginning ideas as well.
Short Stories
Short Stories are the stories of my own creation. I usually don’t like hearing the term “short stories” because it usually means a very short essay-like story about cardboard characters that usually do something dramatic or heroic, or in some cases die, and it is supposed to effect me in some big way but it never does because all the short stories I read are too short for me to care. So, I wanted my short stories to bring the readers in, so they’ll want more. My short stories still have juice and enough background for the readers to sympathize with or for the characters but aren’t long enough to be considered a book. They are good enough to have a spin off.
